U-GRAD Scholarship
In Bangladesh, millions of orphaned and vulnerable students continue to aspire to higher education. Yet for many, financial hardship remains a significant barrier to accessing university.
Losing parental support should never equate to losing access to opportunity. The U-GRAD Scholarship is built on the belief that, with targeted academic and financial support, orphaned students today can become the graduates, professionals, and leaders of tomorrow—driving meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
About the Program
Recent studies indicate that over 3.4 million children in Bangladesh are growing up without parental care, placing many at significant risk of being excluded from higher education (UNICEF).
The U-GRAD Scholarship by Orphan Love Foundation was established to address this gap and ensure that financial hardship does not become a barrier to academic progression.
The programme supports orphaned and vulnerable students who have secured admission to undergraduate studies but face financial challenges in continuing their education. Through structured financial assistance, mentorship, and long-term guidance, U-GRAD aims to enable students to complete their degrees with dignity, confidence, and a clear sense of direction.
